About 16 Alpha

A systematic investment platform built on research, discipline, and a fully algorithmic process.

Overview

16 Alpha Alternatives Technologies Fund I is a SEBI-registered Category III AIF deploying a systematic, algorithm-driven long-only strategy across Indian equities.

The platform has since expanded with 16 Alpha Alternatives Technologies Fund II, a Category III AIF that pursues a more opportunistic mandate while preserving objective, rules-based decision-making, continuing the firm’s data-driven and systematic approach to investing.

We are deliberately selective about the capital we manage.

16 Alpha partners only with a select group of sophisticated investors, family offices, and institutions who share our systematic, research-driven investment philosophy. We do not seek to work with everyone; we seek to work with the right partners, preserving alignment and discipline.

25th February 2026

Fund I First Year

From our first investment on 25th February 2025 to 25th February 2026, the fund delivered 14.09% return (including dividends). In a highly volatile year, we generated +4.07% alpha over the BSE Sensex, +4.88% over the Nifty Smallcap 250, and outperformed the Nifty 50, Nifty Midcap Index, and BSE 500, with lower drawdowns and reduced volatility relative to indices. Year one has strengthened our conviction that a disciplined, fully algorithmic framework can perform not just in stable markets, but in uncertain environments.
